Over the years, Anne's has expanded our "green goods" to include a wide selection of plants perfectly suited to our northern Illinois climate. Our staff is involved with your purchase from the very beginning. We spend several weeks tagging trees as far away as the state of Oregon, and walking hoop houses just to get the perfect selection of perennials and shrubs for you. During the season, we take delivery of fresh plant shipments from an independent family-owned grower multiple times per week. We have also become recognized as a Proven Winners "Certified Garden Center". We are proud to offer you one of the largest and highest-quality selections of green goods in northern Illinois!

 

ORNAMENTALS

We are proud of the huge selection of ornamental evergreens and grafted flowering trees we ship hand select and ship from the Portland, Oregon region. We travel to Oregon every fall and visit several nurseries to tag thousands of flowering plants and interesting conifers . . . many are one of a kind! Come check out these interesting specimens and see how their intriguing structure and texture will make your landscape the envy of your neighborhood. Our expert staff is always available to help you pick out that perfect plant!

 

TREES & SHRUBS

Our shade tree quality and selection is outstanding! We hand select thousands of trees each year. If it is fall color, spring flowers, or just shade, we have exactly what you are looking for . . . and, importantly, our trees are delivered and planted for you at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! To accent your tree, we handle a wide array of shrubs of different textures, colors and shapes. Incorporating shrubs into your landscape can provide four seasons of color!

 

PERENNIALS

In 2024, Anne's will handle over 10,000 perennials! Our wide variety of flowering perennials, groundcovers, and ornamental grasses is replenished all season long . . . so we're certain to have  what you want and when you need it. Perennials can be added for a bit of summer color among your fall-colored foliage plants or they can make a big splash with massive beds for a spring-to-fall show. ANNUALS

Annuals are one of our largest categories of green goods. We are constantly adding new and different combinations of flowering containers, tropical patio plants, beautiful hanging baskets of all sizes, and the very popular "Proven Winners" varieties. And, let's not forget the veggies! Now more than ever, people are planting their own fresh vegetable gardens. Big or small, there is something to say about "home grown" and the satisfaction one feels when you harvest. You can count on Anne's quality plants to satisfy your needs!
